“House on Fire,” by Slam Bamboo, featuring a young Trent Reznor on keyboard
John Maus - “Believer”
I don’t know how many of you listen to John Maus already, but if you don’t, you need to. This instant. His music is highly-reminiscent of vintage late-night television. Grainy b-movies, infomercials, and long-gone television sign-offs.
Also he just released an album of rarities and previously-unreleased music, and it’s honestly good enough to be a genuine album of its own.

(Keep Feeling) Fascination by The Human League, it was stuck in my day the whole time at work, kept me from being snarky.
this song is one of the best songs of the whole 80s decade.

M83 - Midnight City
One of these days I’m going to make a list of all of the perfect songs I can think of. This will definitely be on the list.
The first time I heard this was literally breathtaking.
Listening to that album was such an experience.

Royksopp - Happy Up Here
Thomas Dolby - “Hot Sauce”
Currently listening to this album. I love it. And I love the cover. And I love Thomas Dolby.
FUN FACT: I’m a sucker for anything related to or derived from 50’s/60’s sci-fi B-movies, and their posters.
